Art & Innovation Workshop 'What Can I Do for My Planet?'

Facilitators: Maria-Gabriele Doublesin and Michell Borge.

The goal of this “Art & Innovation” workshop was to promote open dialogue and citizen participation to develop environmental stewardship and to raise awareness of the threats confronting the world to generate innovative ideas for its conservation.

Male and female participants hailing from many different cultural backgrounds and with different ethnicities from the age of 16 to 83 worked together on one big canvas and individual smaller canvases with acrylic colours.  They expressed their thoughts on what they can do to help safeguard our planet in a language beyond words.

This workshop formed part of VOPS26/2022 ‘Together We Strive’ and was funded through the Voluntary Organisations Project Scheme, managed by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector.
