Our upcoming Culture Café event will take place on 22 June 2024, themed ‘Modern Malta – its Art & Culture’, with the renowned Mariella Pisani Bencini facilitating the discussion.
This event promises to be an enlightening exploration of Malta’s vibrant cultural landscape.
Mariella Pisani Bencini is a distinguished author, TV presenter, and television producer, whose name is synonymous with the Maltese cultural scene. For 27 years, her weekly television programme ‘Meander’ has been a cornerstone in promoting the arts and culture of Malta, and is instrumental in highlighting and nurturing the cultural fabric of Malta. In recognition of her extensive contributions to the sector, Mariella was honoured with the Malta Society of Arts Gold Medal Award 2021, presented by H.E. the President of Malta, George Vella.
The event will be held at NWAMI International Malta’s social hub at Ta’Detta Restaurant located on the picturesque Valletta Waterfront, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage in an interactive discussion moderated by Mariella Pisani Bencini, whose deep knowledge and passion for the arts have made her a beloved figure in Malta and beyond.
